Senior Electronics Technician & Manager - Zurich area MedTech - growing company - English essential with German a bonus

I'm currently searching for a senior Electronics Technician for a Swiss based international Medical Devices manufacturer. Reporting in to the Head of the Technical Group internationally, they will provide department leadership to a small group of technicians while participating in more hands on duties as required: Complaint handling & failure investigation, device inspection and root cause analysis on returned products, International and local technical Support (R&D, QA/RA, production), and repair of electromechanical equipment used in for example the hospital Operating Theatre environment.

Typically the person would be a career medical technician, biomedical Engineer, or electronics technician, with several years industry experience investigating & repairing electronics based equipment in the medical sector, but who had also gained supervisory experience along the way. This would therefore suit both current managers looking for a change in scene, but also professionals with some leadership experience who see this as a stepping stone to a peoples management career long term.

English is the corporate language, however most of the staff are local to this German speaking area, hence German to Business level is extremely useful

The company itself specialises in the development and sale of respiratory monitoring equipment. Acquired recently by a US based international Medical Devices company, they are up-scaling their operations and with solid financial backing. This is a permanent position.
