Technician Electro-mech products - Swiss base with Travel

Ventilation technician - industry leading Medtech - Swiss base with international travel to Asia and the USA

This is a exciting new role supporting new product innovation and sustaining engineering for critical care life support products manufactured in Switzerland. The work is hands on, including physical installation and lifting up to 50 lbs, and in terms of location will be based approximately 1 hour from Zurich but with travel by car to other facilities, vendors, and test labs locally, and with up to 25% international travel to Asia and the USA.

You will be part of a small team of dedicated engineers, designing, developing, testing, and documenting mechanical and electro-mechanical systems related to current and future products. As such you will

• Participate in design studies to improve reliability, safety, performance, lower cost, and implement next-generation concepts.
• Provide validation and troubleshooting support to production, Suppliers, and Customers internationally
• Collaborate with and educate others on technical issues.
• Track internal trends and suggest process improvements

Typically, we'd be looking for a minimum of 2 years industry experience as a technician or Field Service Engineer, ideally involving medical device equipment, and skilled in troubleshooting complex systems which are electro-mechanical in nature and software driven. They should be computer literate with knowledge of MSOffice, excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivated, and be able to work both supervised and autonomously

Both English and German are needed due to the international nature of this position.
