This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an exciting and growing biotech company who are strengthening their Italian operations and are planning to further speed up their growth.

They are searching for an innovative and passionate Brand Manager Haematology / Rare Diseasewho will have a lead in the marketing and strategy development for upcoming launches of their speciality niche products in the Italian market. Furthermore it will take care of all the ongoing, yet challenging, operations related to products' lifecycle management.

This exciting role reports directly to the Country Managing Director and has responsibilities and objectives of:

  • Developing and leading the brand and marketing strategy for the county in line with the overall European guidelines
  • Work closely with the other EU marketing teams to ensure smooth implementation of EU marketing strategies
  • Make field visits to help better understand the needs and expectations of the customer and the market
  • Develop sales and marketing materials for the products and adapt central messages to regional specific messages as needed
  • Lead and manage agencies to ensure projects are delivered to the agreed performance metrics
  • Establish and maintain strong networks outside of the organisation including but not limited to specialists in therapeutic area, pharmacists and payors, specialist nurses and professional organisations
  • Deliver on pre-set marketing and sales objectives within the agreed budget framework that will be agreed in alignment with the Managing Director
  • To be consider for this role individuals experience, and expertise should include:

  • A university degree level or equivalent in business or science
  • Sales and marketing experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotech industry - minimum 5/6 years
  • Previous working experience of Oncology/Rare Disease Brand or Product Management
  • At least one full cycle of the strategic and tactical planning process
  • Excellent interpersonal skill with a proven track record of effectiveness as a cross-functional team player and project leader
  • Native level of Italian and Fluency in English

    This position is an office-based role in Milan that will include some European travel to other EU countries as well as regular travel in country.
