Working under limited direction the Human Resources Project Advisor (Performance Project) will be part of the Optimising Academic Performance program team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of our Enterprise Agreement, employment frameworks, policies and procedures and, managing performance within the University. The role will work in partnership with the HR Advisory portfolio to provide Human Resource advice, support and guidance on a range of academic workforce strategic initiatives around performance management, separations, promotions and early retirement scheme. Additionally, the Human Resources Project Advisor will collaborate with the Program Manager, wider HR team and key stakeholders to identify, review and update performance frameworks.

To be successful you will need:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in the use of contemporary HR practices.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, including conditions of employment and employment policies and, provide timely and expert advice.
  • Strong writing skills and experience in developing framework and policy documents.
  • Demonstrated ability dealing with confidential and sensitive matters of a complex nature.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and communicate with people at all levels in a large organisation.
