SEND/CWD Assistant Team Manager

A Local Authority is seeking an experienced practitioner to help manage their integrated SEND & CWD team.

Highlights:

  • Excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Practitioner to take the step up into management
  • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practitioner to join an established Disabilities and SEND team as a manager. The current manager is happy to accept applications from experienced Senior Practitioner who are looking to take the step up into management, providing a stepping stone for those career driven Social Workers who are keen to get into management.

    This is a multi agency service and you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from education and health to ensure service users get the best possible outcome. This is a small and specialist team which covers a small geographical region so staff do not have to travel too much within the role. As an ATM you will be responsible for the operational day to day management of the team as well as supporting and developing Junior colleagues

    You will be coming into a stable team with most members employed on a permanent basis and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, which will give you the opportunity to focus on your role.

    To be considered for this post you should have extensive experience as a Senior Practitioner or should have been an Assistant Team Manager
