My client is a market oriented agent and distributor of chemical raw materials and industrial equipment, acting as an intermediary between customers and suppliers, distributing all over Europe.
Their philosophy is transparency toward the customers and first class principals is one of the most important elements that differentiates the company from other distributors. Providing technical solutions, delivering service and adding value are key drivers of the sales teams. For over 30 years the company is already active in Germany and has a professional sales team and staff operating successfully.
As the business is growing, the company is looking now for an Industry Manager to join their outstanding sales team.

Job summary:
* The Industry manager is the first contact for the customers in his/her industry and area. The Industry Manager is responsible for all commercial decisions and is technically skilled in the responsible plastics segment.

* You will be extensively travelling through Germany to visit existing customers, as well as developing new business. Entrepreneurship and industry ownership are highly appreciated.

* In your efforts to grow the business with existing and new customers you will be supported by technical training and back up from the dedicated principals. You will follow up on market trends and act as an intermediary between customer and principal.

* You will be working in a team with other Industry Managers, responsible for other segments. Also an inside sales team is giving support to your business and sales efforts.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate has experience with raw materials in the chemical distribution. You are interested in searching for solutions and selling added value products for plastics.
Furthermore you can identify yourself with the following:

* You want to be a respected specialist in your industry
* You are a native German speaker and fluent in English
