Job Details
carry on research activity of the highest level (principal);
collaborate with colleagues from the laboratory (principal);
lead a reading group/seminar in number theory (secondary);
contribute to the laboratory activities (secondary).
We are seeking to recruit a researcher in algebraic number theory or in arithmetic geometry, in order to reinforce the potential of the mathematics Laboratory Paul Painleve in these areas.
The researcher will have an office in the mathematics laboratory Paul Painleve (LPP) at the University of Lille, and will be part of the arithmetic and algebraic geometry (AGA) team.
PhD in algebraic number theory or in arithmetic geometry.
priority would be given to candidates with competences in one the following areas: p-adic L-functions, automorphic forms, Galois representations.
capacity to work in collaborative projects.
The duration of the contract is between 6 and 8 months.
Interested candidates must provide:
1/ a detailed CV containing a list of (pre)-publications,
2/ a motivation letter,
3/ a research project.
