The University of Southampton has an in-house security service providing 24-hour cover across a number of sites and is looking for additional full time permanent security officers. You will work on a rotating shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off. Although based at the Highfield Campus your duties will take you to all of our other sites patrolling on 12.5 hour shifts, so you can expect a varied and interesting work pattern.

A full, manual car Driving Licence is required and you should also be able to demonstrate a good customer focused work record.

Successful applicants without a Security Industry Authority Licence to Door Supervisor Level will be required to pass the week long course at their cost within 6 months of starting.
