Senior Credit Analyst - Trade Finance - Russian Speaker

For my client I am recruiting a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for structuring and analysing credit risk in regards to Commodity Trade Finance transactions and to establish related limits in close cooperation with the risk units of the different entities of the Bank. Embrace a key function in the Bank and be involved in the future project of the Credit function for the Commodity Trade Finance products.

Your responsibilities:

• Work in close collaboration with the CTF relationship managers:

• Prepare comprehensive and detailed credit application package.
• Ensure efficient credit approval process by providing all necessary information for the decision making in a credit and ensure a close follow up on approved credit decisions.
• Participate in credit deal structuring and negotiation with clients when required.
• Present credit assessments and/or applications in a clear, structured, concise and confident manner:
• Ensure adherence to the defined lending standards and working instructions.

• Ongoing monitoring of financial / commodity markets and regulatory developments.
• Ensure that the Bank has at all times the required credit limits for Commodity Trading houses in place.
• Strong interaction with Business and Risks Units of the Bank at an international level, and also with clients.

Your profile:

• Swiss / EU passport or valid Swiss work permit.
• Master or equivalent degree in a related area.
• + 4 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in Investment Banking and/or top tier consulting firm.
• Excellent knowledge and interest for Commodity Trade finance products.
• A good understanding of legal aspects of trade finance instruments would be a plus.
• Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly provide instructions to others, summarize and articulate issues, and document them in a concise manner.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify appropriate solutions to resolve issues and work effectively with constraints.
• Self-starter with willingness to achieve high quality results
• A reliable, committed and highly motivated team player that drives projects and tasks independently.
• Fluent in English and Russian; German is a plus.
