The AUT Pacific Health Research Centre is seeking a Project Manager for a Pacific research project to be undertaken as part of the AWESSoM study (Ageing Well through Eating, Sleeping, Socialising and Mobility).

This research is being carried out within the National Institute for Public Health and Mental Health Research which focuses on high quality research that contributes to the reduction of health disparities, improves the health of New Zealanders, and generates and extends knowledge.

The project will utilise both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to investigate aspects of ageing well in relation to older Pacific people.

The Project Manager's role will be to manage the day-to-day tasks of the study, which will include administrative tasks, liaising with stakeholders, overseeing participant recruitment and data collection, supervision of Research Assistants, and assisting with data analysis and writing up of findings.

The appointee will be a self-motivated, organised, reliable team player who preferably has experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research and has experience working with Pacific people. They will have a minimum of a Master's degree, ideally within a health related discipline.

This is a 0.6 position (equivalent to 3 days per week) for a fixed-term of 1 year (with the possibility of an extension) and is based at AUT South Campus in Manukau.
