Job Details
An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Trial Administrator to join the SNIFSII study team based within the Academic Unit of Primary Care and Population Sciences at Aldermoor Health Centre.
This study is looking at the use of a web based intervention and saline nasal irrigation for acute sinusitis and will provide evidence of recruitment and follow-up rates, it is also likely to provide preliminary evidence about whether antibiotic use is likely to be reduced. This study is funded by an NIHR School for Primary Care Research grant and is being led by Professor Paul Little.
The post will be responsible to the Trial Manager and will support them and the rest of the team in the overall efficient day-to-day management of the trial. You will do this by undertaking advanced administrative support and accurate data entry; creating and maintaining appropriate filing systems, and by collating information required by Governance departments and any other authorities as well as other duties as appropriate for the smooth running of the trial. A good working knowledge and experience of Excel spreadsheets would be a distinct advantage.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a Primary Care healthcare-related research environment.
For informal enquiries, please contact Ms Tammy E Thomas on 023 8059 1773 or email: tet@soton.ac.uk
The position is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 30 May 2020 - flexibly part-time.
