Regulatory Chemist, Pharma Industry / POLAND , Warsaw
For our client, well established provider for services in the life science field, in Poland we are looking for an experienced Compliance Specialist for Warsaw area.
You will be given a chance to work with innovative products and you will grow your international network.
Your tasks will include:
- Monitoring and application of relevant national and international legislation (eg ROHS, WEEE, POP, FDA, REACH and packaging standards)
- Working with REGULATIONS COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No 428/2009
- Classification of new and existing products according to Controlled substance regulations (in multiple countries)
- Responsibility for export regulations (national, EU, US and UN)
- REGULATION (EC) No 1005/2009 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 16 September 2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer
- Classification of transport and hazard requirements and customs tariffs
- Project coordination and management
- Keeping the company up to date with international regulations
- Close cooperation with the management and other departments
- Communication with clients and authorities
Your Profile:
- Degree in natural science or chemical engineering
- Knowledge of REGULATIONS COUNCIL REGULATION (EC) No 428/2009
- Several years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere and to work independently
- Familiarity with COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2018/1922of 10 October 2018 amending Council Regulation (EC) No 428/2009 setting up a Community regime for the control of exports, transfer, brokering and transit of dual-use items
- Understanding of internal customer requirements and expectations
- REGULATIONS REGULATION (EU) 2019/125 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 16 January 2019 concerning trade in certain goods which could be used for capital punishment, torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment
- Proficiency in dealing with norms and legal texts as well as their interpretation
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
- Knowledge of REACh, RoHS ( other regulations are beneficial )
- Fluency in Polish and English
