A Local Authority near London is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities service and work closely with the Fostering service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner with experience of working with service users with complex needs as the assignment offers excellent levels of flexibility and provides a high rate of pay.

The team is a stable team which consists mostly of permanent staff and works closely with the fostering service and other external providers. The role will focus around short breaks and panels; ensuring placements are safe and well managed.

As a Social Worker in the team you will be joining an organisation which operates differently from a traditional Local Authority as Children's services are currently managed by a innovative Social Work enterprise providing a greater degree of flexibility for innovation and less red tape. The organisation is quick to take on and apply development within Applied Social Sciences and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the wider service really giving you the opportunity to have an impact on the future of the service. Furthermore your employabiltiy will increase specially within Local Authorities that use this model of practice
