Penetration Tester- new fields, low travel

My client, a highly specialised cyber security firm with strong ties in the financial sector and a high focus on its own research and niche project, is looking for an experienced penetration tester to join the team.

At this point in time, the company is exploring a variety of new fields for penetration testing and due to its clientele has many projects challenging you on a different level. Not always the same web-application, much more towards specialised projects with its own mobile department but also smart home and testing of chip cards etc.

You will experience variety and have the chance to join a tight knit team that works together, in a company that appreciates personal circumstances, which is one of the reason the travel amount is low (10-20%) but also allows for flexible working hours and different daily structures.

As a company with a solid background and tradition, you will have a secure work place with a new set of challenges for further development.

Interested?

In order to be considered for this position the following qualifications would be important:

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, IT Security or a related field
• Experience in penetration testing
• Knowledge of common software architectures (ideally also Android)
• In-depth knowledge of network technology and common protocols
• Nessus, Burp, AppScan, Metasploit, OWASP and Wireshark should not be new to you.
• Ideally, you should also be more familiar with the topic of public-key infrastructures.
• Ideally recognized certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GSNA
• Knowledge of German (minimum C1) and English
• Ability to analyse, learn and work in a team
