(HEO6) $78,476 to $84,801 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply

Exciting opportunity to be involved in providing HSW coordination, services, support and advice across assigned Schools

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) team provide the Faculty with a specialist HSW advisory service, interpreting and coordinating the University's HSW framework and safety management system and assisting with compliance obligations with relevant HSW legislation, standards, policies and procedures.

Working under general direction, the HSW Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of training, the conduct of investigations, audits and risk reviews, the management of systems, records and documentation, and the provision of advice, consultancy and resources. The HSW Coordinator also contributes to the continual improvement of HSW processes and outcomes across the Faculty.

To be successful you will need:
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and application of HSW legislation, performance standards and principles to the development and implementation of action plans, systems, programs and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in researching and investigating HSW matters, working systematically to improve outcomes, developing options for resolution and preparing reports and submissions with appropriate recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing significant HSW risks across a large and complex business unit.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, developing and implementing processes and plans to achieve defined outcomes, and solving problems in an innovative and creative manner.
