The University of Bristol is working with the City Council, local communities and industry to develop a new £300 million campus in the Enterprise Zone at Temple Quarter. We are delighted to offer an exciting and challenging Senior Project Manager Role which will be crucial to the successful delivery of our flagship Temple Quarter second campus growth programme.

The role we are looking to fill will project manage the Campus Development Sub Programme and will also have responsibility for the Finance cross cutting work-stream. It will be integrated with the work of the Campus Division in particular the master planning for all phases of the campus development.

Ready for a new challenge, you will be a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing strategically important, multi-faceted, complex and high-profile projects, including delivery in large, complex public sector or similar environments. Naturally, you'll be highly knowledgeable and experienced in PRINCE 2 methodology, or equivalent and you'll know when and how to adapt methodology to suit the programme and key stakeholders. Understanding and familiarity with the MSP model for programme management is required. Experience and knowledge of the Royal Institute British Architects (RIBA) methodology would be a distinct advantage. You'll be committed to ensuring that results are planned and delivered with the full engagement and buy-in of all staff. You will also be able to collate, analyse and report on complex data for a wide range of audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work and communicate well with a wide range of staff, including senior academic colleagues and external stakeholders, will be absolutely key to your success. You will be responsible for reporting on plans and progress to the TQEC main Programme Board and to TQEC Sub-Programme Boards.

We are keen to hear from high quality generalist Project Managers as well as those with specific areas of expertise in working with Construction/Capital projects.
