Non Case Holding Post

A Local Authority based in the London region is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their MASH services. This is a non case holding position

Highlights

  • This is a non case holding post where you will be predominantly office based, this generally means you won't have to go out and do visits.
  • As this is an office based post hours of work are fixed and you will be finishing your working day at a regular time, which leaves your evenings free.
  • The post will see you be based in a multi agency team and you will be working closely with your colleagues from the police, education and health services.
  • As a member of the team you will be investigating circumstances surrounding children who may be considered to be at risk.
  • This is a very stable service with very low staff turnover and most members of staff employed on a permanent basis
  • You will be managed by an experienced manager who is very supportive and current members of the team report a high level of job satisfaction.
  • Local Authorities Children's Services is managed by an independent enterprise which produces some of the best Ofsted results.

    The post will see you work with colleagues from other statutory services to investigate those circumstances surrounding children who may be deemed to be at risk. You will work on cases which may have CSE, Gangs, Substance Misuse and other complex issues and you will also have the opportunity to specialise in these areas and develop further. The organisation offers excellent training and development opportunities and provides staff with a budget which you will be able to use attend courses offered by external organisations.

    To be considered for this post you should have experience of working in a MASH or Referral and Assessment team
