(HEO8) and $96,925 - $108,787 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply

This new created role of Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Manager is responsible for leading the provision of HSW services, support, advice and coordination that assists with ensuring the ongoing safety of staff, student and visitors within ECMS

This position is responsible for leading the HSW team and overseeing the coordination and facilitation of the University's HSW workplace monitoring program, the conduct of incident investigations, recommending corrective actions and formulating reports, as well as the providing timely and accurate HSW advice to all levels of the Faculty and it's schools when required.

To be successful you will need:
  • Extensive knowledge of work health and safety processes, management systems, relevant legislation and hazard management practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the management of significant HSW risk across a large and complex business unit.
  • Experience in leading people to achieve team outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to, and experience in, drafting and preparing quality HSW related material and documentation.
  • High level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to partner with a broad range of people.
