The Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies (DCT) is the largest of these Faculties with over 6000 students and 450 staff. DCT is a Faculty which thrives on innovation. It is the collaboration between Communication Studies, Art and Design, Engineering, Computer & Mathematical Sciences and Creative Technologies.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lecturer International Development, reporting to the Director of Engagement. In this role, you will develop an international strategy roadmap and identify potential international partnerships that will be mutually beneficial. You will foster key relationships with national and international stakeholders to influence and deliver on business objectives. You will represent and uphold the university brand and reputation on a global scale.

The successful applicant will possess the following experience and skills:
  • A PhD relevant to the area of teaching and International Development
  • Experience with curriculum development
  • Experience writing and developing strategic plans
  • Experience identifying opportunities locally and internationally
  • Demonstrable experience developing international partnerships with universities, industry and government organisations
  • Experience writing MoU's and partnership agreements
  • External relationship building, with commercial negotiation experience
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in relationship building and cultural competency
