Adelaide Microscopy is the University of Adelaide's Core Facility for Microscopy and Microanalysis, and we are looking to fill the role of Biological Sciences Electron Microscopist
The role of Biological Sciences Electron Microscopist is supporting medical, bioscience and engineering researchers with Biological Transmission Electron Microscopy to a large user community at the University of Adelaide, South Australia, and nationally as part of Microscopy Australia.
The role requires strong experience in biological Transmission Electron Microscopy and associated sample preparation and develop new techniques in CryoTEM.

- Demonstrated experience in the operation and application of Advanced Biological Transmission Electron Microscopy, Cryo-Transmission Electron Microscopy or CLEM.
- Extensive expertise in and experience operating and maintaining transmission electron microscopes and associated sample preparation equipment.
- Sound knowledge of and experience with sample preparation of biological samples for Electron Microscopy.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and with key stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
