- 0.8 FTE two-year fixed term position from February 2020
- Focus on Emergency and Disaster Management and Global Health
Te Kura Hauora Tūmatanui/School of Public Health and Psychosocial Studies at AUT provides both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in public health; emergency management, international and pacific health; health law and ethics, based on Te Tiriti, social justice, ethics, health right, and the concept of Whanau Ora.
The role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Public and Environmental Health will be expected to contribute to a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and management at AUT South campus; to undertake research; and to supervise research students towards Honours, Masters and Doctoral degrees.
The appointee, preferably with a relevant doctoral qualification, will be expected to contribute to a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and management at AUT South campus.
The appointee will be required to supervise or assist with supervision of Master Students.
We particularly welcome applicants from the Pacific Rim who are suitably qualified. The appointee will provide quality teaching, research, and industry engagement in Public and Environmental Health with a particular focus on Emergency and Disaster Management and Global Health offered within the School of Public Health and Psychosocial Studies.
The appointee will deliver high quality education that meets the needs of students, industry and professional groups.
