Senior Credit Risk Officer - Commodity Trading - Switzerland

As a Senior Credit Risk Officer you will be responsible for structuring and analysing credit risk in regards to Commodity Trade Finance transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Direct support to the CTF relationship managers and with the Business and Risk Units of the Bank;
• Ensure efficient credit approval process and follow up closely on approved credit decisions;
• Participate in credit deal structuring and negotiation with clients;
• Present credit assessments/applications in a clear;
• Ongoing monitoring of financial / commodity markets and regulatory developments;
• Ensure that the Bank has at all times the required credit limits for Commodity Trading houses in place;
• Coach and train less experienced team members on transactions and credit files;
• Direct reporting line to the Head of Credit.

Profile:

• Master in Banking or Finance;
• At least 4-7 years of experience in a similar position within a Leading Trading Company or Commodity Trade Finance Bank;
• Excellent knowledge of credit risks applied to commodities trading companies, corporates and banks;
• A good understanding of legal aspects of trade finance instruments would be a plus;
• Fluent in English; additional languages are appreciated.
