Ongoing Training as a Locum Social Worker

NonStop's client is an improving local authority based near Derby that is looking for a Qualified Social Workers to join their CP team. You will join a great team with a supportive manager, offering consistent and steady supportive structure. The management team are happy to help their staff and this would give you the opportunity to learn from the management at the organisation. On top of the further career progression, you would get the same opportunities as permanent staff even though this is a contract role.

The ideal candidate would need extensive years post qualified experience, which would allow you to join the local authority and hit the ground running. The local authority is dedicated to lowering caseloads per social worker by ensuring that they have a steady stream of experienced social workers across the services.

This is a minimum 6 month contract role which gives you flexibility as well as offering a competitive and regular wage. There is the opportunity for the contract to be extended if you are good at the role, so contract staff also have the opportunity for promotion and development.
