Can you lead outstanding research and innovation to advance the health and social care of people with long term conditions? If the answer is yes, we'd love to hear from you. This exciting role is offered through the partnership between University of Southampton and National Institute of health Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) Wessex.

You will be part of the University of Southampton, one of the top 100 universities in the world and a leading university for Health Sciences research, ranked first in the UK in for overall quality and research intensity, with 100% of our research environment and impact attracting top ratings (REF 2014).

Our clinical academic programme in Health Sciences leads the UK in its scale, quality and innovative nature, and this, together with our interdisciplinary research collaborations, has underpinned the development of high quality research that addresses issues of high relevance to health service users, providers and commissioners.

This exciting post represents strategic investment that will consolidate leadership and research activity to advance healthcare for people with Long Term Conditions.
