Systems Engineer - Automotive

Job Description:

• Define system requirements and specifications in association with the design team, the team for actuator control and external system partners with particular focus on automotive cyber security
• Support the definition of mechatronic system architecture
• Participate in system analysis such as FMEA, FTA
• Request, drive or realise technical studies in order to improve product knowledge and to refine product specifications and the control strategies
• Follow-up system validation activities (on bench and on vehicle) in cooperation with test teams
• Document and follow-up evaluations and technical changes in terms of impact with regards to a system definition
• Prepare and support design review activities
• Participate in preparing and presenting system documentation and specific system studies to customers

Requirements:

• Detailed knowledge of cyber security design techniques with specific knowledge of state-of-the-art automotive cyber security principles relating to the ongoing work behind ISO21434
• Good knowledge of safety relevant methods relating to ISO26262
• Excellent knowledge of electronic hardware and software design from a cyber secure systems engineering perspective
• Knowledge tools: DOORS (Next Generation), IBM Rhapsody
• Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the automotive/aeronautical/railway industry preferably in a systems engineering role
