As a Research and Teaching Fellow, you will undertake research in Chemical Biology, with a focus on chemical proteomics applied to host-pathogen interactions, and will also provide day-to-day supervision to a group of researchers in the Wright Group . As well as research, you will support the delivery and assessment of innovative teaching in chemistry at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This position is offered on a fixed term basis to cover a period of leave which is expected to last 12 months.

You will have a PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Biology, along with experience of undertaking research in a field related to that of the Wright group. With a proven record of achievement as a single or main author of referred publications, you will have experience of teaching chemistry to undergraduate students, along with experience of working with biological samples.
