An exciting opportunity is available to join the Faculty of Life Sciences in this senior educational management role. Life Sciences at the University of Bristol includes undergraduate programmes in biomedical sciences, psychology and biological sciences; and postgraduate taught and research programmes across the full range of life sciences subject areas.
The Faculty Education Manager is the lead professional services role overseeing student support services in the Faculty. Directly responsible for the management of the Faculty education team, the role holder provides professional oversight to the School Administration Managers within the Faculty, as well as contributing at institution-level to the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to education support.
The successful candidate will work closely with academic colleagues in the Faculty, ensuring that educational strategies and action plans are aligned with University priorities and deliver against Faculty objectives. With professional accountability to the Academic Registrar, the postholder is responsible for ensuring that University and individual programme regulations are applied consistently and fairly in academic decision-making.
This is a senior leadership role in a newly established Faculty presenting the opportunity for tackling a wide range of challenges facing the academic environment as well as significant personal development.
