Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Manager, Centre for Global Surgical Care (CGSC).
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
- Facilitate the achievement of strategic goals related to office of CGSC
- monitor and present the achievements of the office of CGSC
- work on submission of the Global Surgery related grants and related projects
- implement and supervise research projects, develop instruments for data collection and monitoring.
- develop SoPs for CGSC administrative processes, projects and procedures to facilitate standardized practices
- share progress of the project, supervise data entry activities, monitor the quality related to reporting.
- responsible for hiring and training of project team as per projects requirements
- conduct internal audits for on-going research projects and reporting to the principal investigators with recommendations
- work closely with administrative staff to ensure discipline required for the projects
- liaison with internal departments to ensure smooth submission of projects activities within the settings.
Requirements
You should have:
- MPH / M.Sc. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics / M.Sc. in health policy and management / Masters in sociology
- MBBS would be preferred
- good management and organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
