Job Details
Role: Geo-Environmental Engineer or Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer
Location: Southampton
Salary: £24,000 - £34,000 + Standard benefits
Role Requirements:
- Supporting a variety of geo-environmental projects for both external and internal clients
- Overseeing ground investigations
- Soil and rock logging to current UK standards, including laboratory scheduling
- Knowledge of geotechnical and contaminated land issues
- Preparing and checking technical notes, drawings and geo-environmental reports
- Travel to other offices and sites within the UK (as needed)
Person Specification
- BSc or equivalent in Geology / Environmental Science
- Approximately 1-8 years relevant experience
- A good understanding of geology, ground investigation works, contaminated land and engineering geology
- A thorough understanding of remediation techniques, RMS, and validation especially soft landscaping validation
- Able to complete factual and interpretative assessments
