The ENVIBRO project announces the opening of 5 post-doctoral positions.
ENVIBRO is a Thematic Project that combines the efforts of Brazilian research groups from the University of São Paulo (USP), São Paulo State University (UNESP), University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) and also a number of international collaborators to investigate periodic structures in the context of phononic materials and elastic/acoustic metamaterials.
The expected achievements have great potential to enable new insights as well as applications with relevant scientific and technological innovation for mechanical and aerospace engineering problems.
We are looking for outstanding candidates who are scientifically independent and willing to work collaboratively with students and other researchers. PhDs with a background in engineering or physics are potential candidates.
This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.
Each selected candidate will be entitled with a Post-Doctoral grant by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) with a monthly income of R$ 7,373.10 and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the grant, which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
