I am currently working alongside a reputed client of mine, renowned for their developments in multiple Chemical sectors globally. Founded over 120 years ago, this organisation is a key industry player when it comes to Aerospace, Coatings + Inks, Food, Cosmetics + Pharma and tires/rubber.

To continue this global growth we are looking for an experienced EHS Manager to join their team within the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be looking to report directly to the Operations Director of the company, making sure that the facilities within Groningen as well as potentially other EU sites are maintained and improved concerning safety.

You will be joining the market leader in the industry, being able to develop yourself and improve your knowledge from the best. Working allongside the Operations Manager at the site, your name will be recognised amognst senior connections.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate EHS policies and follow them through to implementation.
• Reporting directly to the Operations Director
• Responsible for preparation of EHS annual plans, risk analysis including RI&E.
• Conduct Risk evaluations
• Advise other departments on safety and environmental issues, and the impact of changes with legislations.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience within a similar field in a managerial position.
• Hold a HVK or equivalent
• Speak fluent Dutch and English
