My client, a well established and reputable provider of independent fostering services, currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Supervising Social Worker to join their expanding fostering team in the Yorkshire area with a caseload of just nine. You will become part of a well established fostering agency that are growing organically throughout the area with a primary focus on building long term relationships with the carers with full scope to work flexibility from home.

You will participate in Foster Carer training, carry out annual reviews, initial visits, supervise and train existing carers whilst helping spearhead the development of the agency across the area. You will not be required to do any recruitment. This will predominately be a fostering social worker position in which you can truly make a difference.

The position also offers:

  • Centralised Out of Office Hours
  • Clear progression opportunities
  • A small case load
  • Government projects
  • 31 days annual leave

You will need to be HCPC registered and have at least 1 years experience working within the fostering framework or children social work teams.
