Job Details

This post provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary care researcher to spend 12 months, either full-time or half-time, conducting quantitative and qualitative research interviews and analysis as part of the NIHR funded multicentre REDUCE research programme, which is trialling novel Internet and telephone interventions to help people come off inappropriate long-term antidepressant treatment.

The Primary Medical Care Group is a member of the NIHR School for Primary Care Research, a national collaboration between the nine departments that performed best in the 2013 REF, which provides major opportunities for networking, training, and multicentre collaborations.

We are looking for a track record in quantitative and qualitative research in a UK primary care setting, and proven experience of carrying out individual interviews, and qualitative analysis.

The successful candidate will need to take up the post as soon as possible after 1st November 2019. The post is funded for 12 months to cover the maternity leave of an existing member of staff.
