Job Details
The University of Bristol Department of Accounting and Finance invites applications for the position of Lecturers (Assistant Professors) in Finance. This is a permanent position, subject to review (tenure track).
Applications are sought from candidates with research interests in any field of Finance. Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record or potential for outstanding research and will be undertaking innovative work that complements and extends the Department's existing research and teaching activities.
Applicants must hold, or be close to completing a PhD in a relevant field by the time of application. They will also have an aptitude for teaching to the highest standards at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
We will be conducting informal interviews at the European Job Market meeting in Rotterdam 18-19 December 2019 and the AFA/ASSA meeting in San Diego 3-5 January2020. Candidates not attending these meetings are welcome to apply.

- A Selection Panel has been established to review all applications for this post and to conduct interviews of short-listed candidates.
- The shortlisting process will take place in Early December and selection process is planned to be held in mid-January to mid-February 2020.
