Account Manager - Genomics!
Our client a European market leader is looking for a Sales Representative to maintain and develop accounts in Agrigenomics industry. The right candidate is a high-performing individual that has a good background in genomics and sales. The objective is to maintain and grow existing accounts, while identifying and closing new opportunities, and to provide regular account and market updates to ensure leadership position in the addressed market. Significant experience working with industry and academia accounts is required. The Sales Representative will participate in the development of the sales and marketing strategy.

Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
The job duties include:
Effectively prospect to generate new customer leads.
Develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in the organisation.
Maintain a collaborative working relationship with internal and external colleagues within the organisation.
Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in consultative selling of projects to academia and industrial customers.
Development of a territory and account-specific sales plan.
Execution of the sales plan to meet sales targets.
The right candidate has/is:
A demonstrated track record in lead generation, prospecting and success in complex sales within a multi-layered environment.
Excellent time management, communication, multi-tasking and organisational skills,
A strong desire to drive business and establish long term customer relationships and loyalty.
A self-motivated and self-driven individual, who enjoys a challenging and dynamic work environment.
Able to spend at least 50% of time travelling in European countries
Fluent in English mandatory
Proven sales/commercial experience in genomics
Significant knowledge of key stakeholders and network
A proven ability to network at all levels within the customer organisations, and in the broader market place.
A background in genetics, genomics or other life science related sales is required.
