I get a lot of requests from companies who are constantly looking for regulatory managers or regulatory managers. And while regulations for plant protection products become more and more stringent, the demand for talented professionals has become even higher.

So if you are a regulatory professional on the market, how do you differentiate one opportunity with one company from another opportunity from another company? Maybe it comes down to the realistic impact you can actually have on a company.

One of these roles I am recruiting with ones of these companies is a little different. Not only with this position be focusing on a very niche product category, but you will actually have 2 direct reports that you will be helping to develop which add a little bit of a difference to the standard 'Regulatory Manager' job title.

The company is also a little bit different. While they are attached to some other companies, they are not a global conglomerate. They are very much a French company that is bringing in a new management team to bring it into the international sphere. This means you will join a small business at the start of a growth phase with a new Director that understands the importance of having a strong regulatory team. They champion regulatory affairs and believe growing this department as one of the key objectives to support growth.

The idea behind the role will be to manage your own projects, support your reports in their project and eventually grow a team through your own strategic vision. However, until this happens, you won't be alone. You will develop strong relationships with a network of regulatory and registration professionals from affiliate companies that will in turn help you achieve your growth targets.

I would recommend this role for some one who wants a job with a bit of a difference, someone with an open mind who can realise long terms visions to drive the growth of the business.

Key Requirements:

  • Around 5 to 10 years in National or Zonal Product Registrations
  • Strong knowledge of EU Regulation 1107/2009
  • Experience working with Adjuvants and Fertilizers/BioStimulants will be a bonus
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership abilities
  • A professional level of French and English
