Postdoctoral Research Fellow position available in the School of Social Sciences/ Adelaide Law School with expertise in cyber security policy, law or related issues, with a strong publication record in politics, law or related disciplines.

The Cyber Security Law & Policy (CSLP) Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be situated within the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of the Professions at the University of Adelaide. The position is funded for two years by the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre (CyberCRC) and other Industry partners.

This role will work closely with the CyberCRC within its Law and Policy theme (and broadly across other CyberCRC research projects) to develop and engage in high quality, impactful research projects that contribute to the cybersecurity of Australia. The role will focus on cyber security law and policy collaboration between Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The CyberCRC has been funded for 7 years by the Commonwealth Government's Cooperative Research Centres Program and has also attracted significant funding from its participants. The CyberCRC is an industry-driven collaboration to create and enhance Australian cybersecurity capability.

To be successful you will need:
  • A PhD in Politics, International Relations, Law or related area
  • A demonstrated research interest in cyber security policy, law or related issues
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision
  • A record of high quality research outputs in politics, law or related disciplines including publications and conference papers
  • A track record as a successful team player in areas of administration, research, and teaching
