Lecturing opportunity for an experienced academic, with a focus on Health Law and Ethics to contribute to a growing academic team in this area.
Your opportunity to work with an innovative and progressive team.
The appointee, who will have a LLM, or preferably a relevant doctoral qualification, will be expected to contribute to a mix of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and management at AUT North and South campuses. The appointee will be required to conduct research in their specialist area, teach undergraduate health students, supervise postgraduate students, domestic and international, and publish in national and international journals.
The appointee will provide quality teaching, research, and industry engagement in Health Law and Ethics offered within the School of Public Health and Psychosocial Studies and Masters and PhD programmes. The appointee will deliver high quality education that meets the needs of students, industry and professional groups. This will be achieved through:

- Leadership and innovative teaching and research in the field of Health Law
- Contribution to a quality learning and teaching environment, including students support, effective undergraduate/postgraduate supervision, and efficient and effective administration and leadership of papers being taught
- Undertaking and leading research programmes that align with the School and University strategic direction
- Contribution to the development of Health Law programmes within the Department of Public Health.

- 0.5 FTE, two-year fixed term position
- Expected start beginning of 2020
- Located at AUT's South and North Campuses (Manukau and North Shore)
