Gasoline Components and Aromatics Broker - Switzerland

Provide brokerage coverage for clients on gasoline blending components and petrochemical markers. You will responsible for expanding existing and developing new streams of business and revenues in the European and global space.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a broker in execution of gasoline components (including but not limited to ETBE, MTBE, alkylate, reformate, methanol) and aromatics (including but not limited to methanol, styrene, benzene) physical and financial derivatives deals between traders via phone or computer
• Working with and supporting other brokers with daily activities across the group officers
• Monitoring and analysing market performance and communicating it to customers
• Writing daily marker reports, performing price assessments and market letters
• Meeting with new and existing clients on a consistent basis to develop and maintain business relationship
• Identifying potential clients via research, cold-calling and business meetings
• Representing the group at petrochemical events and engaging with petrochemical market players, relevant PRA agencies, analysts and exchanges to evaluate and identify the need for new derivatives contracts in the space

Profile:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in brokering, trading, operations, consultancy, commercially focused position or business development in the energy or petrochemical markets
• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business, Trading or equivalent work experience
• Experience in sales is required
• Knowledge of market fundamentals, recent trends, related terminology and political landscape of the petrochemical markets
