Direct Work with Adolescence

A Local Authority based in London is seeking an experienced Social Work to join their adolescence team which works with services users between the age of 14-18.


  • Work with service users between 14-18 years
  • Will gain exposure to cases with CSE, Gangs and Missing Children
  • Local Authority achieved a Good Ofsted
  • Well resourced Local Authority where staff have access to a number of other statutory services to help support their caseloads
  • Stable team with most members employed on a permanent a basis - the team also has a low turnover of staff
  • Will have access to modular training which can contribute to a MSc
  • Relationship based practice
  • This is an excellent opportunity to work with a specific service user group which is predominantly between the ages of 14-18 and where there maybe a risk of CSE or Gang affiliation. The post is a specialist post that works closely with other statutory services in order to protect service users from further exploitation and provide support and advice.

    The local authority has consistently achieved a Good Ofsted and this team has recently been setup in order to tackle specific issues in the region. The Local Authority also has a good working relationship with other local authorities in the area, which you will be working in collaboration with.
