A unique experienced medical communication consultancy that specialises in science, strategy, communication and education programs based in Oxfordshire are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Medical Writer to work with their dedicated senior team.

My client is an independent agency who works with pharmaceutical and healthcare companies both large and small to provide the best service and to make sure they are front of mind with clinicians and patients. Their therapy area expertise includes cardiology, diabetes, neuroscience, infectious disease, oncology, renal, respiratory and transplantation.

This position will involve you generating science-based content for review by the relevant AD/Director. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Agendas
• Manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide sets, review papers
• Publication plans
• Strategic communication plans
• Product and/or disease messages
• Science-based content for meeting related materials
• Science-based content for digital outputs

Successful candidates must have:

• A life science graduate (BSc or PhD)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Well organised
• Ability to work in a structural, methodical way
• Advance project management experience
• 1 year of experience as a medical writer
