A successful company in Bavaria are looking for a passionate individual to join their expanding team as EHS Manager.
Having developed and produced high-quality natural citrus concentrates for over 50 years, they are looking for a special individual who will value their passion for good taste, technological competence and teamwork!
Your duties:
- Fulfilment of the tasks within the scope of the appointment as an occupational safety specialist
- Technical management of the environmental and safety officers at the site
- Responsible implementation of regional Group-internal processes and programs
- Proactive participation in the creation and further development of regional Group-internal processes in national/international teams in the areas of operational environmental protection, fire protection and occupational safety.
- Support the promotion of a work environment with a proactive safety culture and the implementation of risk assessment, prevention and mitigation processes.
- Coordination and cooperation with environmental and occupational health and safety authorities and accident insurers
- Advising plant management, specialist departments and committees on all EHS issues
Successful candidates MUST have:
- Successfully completed engineering studies and/or training as a technician or master craftsman
- Valid qualifications for environmental officer functions advantageous or readiness for qualification (waste, water protection, immission control)
- Several years of experience in the field of EHS - ideally in an industrial company
- Safe knowledge of hazardous substance management
- Strong communication skills combined with business fluency in spoken and written English
- Experienced handling of MS Office applications
- A high level of understanding of technical, organisational and qualitative processes as well as coordination skills
- High affinity to effective work organisation and data management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
