Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - Physiotherapy

1.0 FTE permanent (x2)

AUT is a contemporary university with a reputation for innovative approaches to teaching, learning and research. AUT University's Department of Physiotherapy is seeking two permanent 1.0 FTE Lecturers/Senior Lecturers to join the Physiotherapy team based on the North Shore campus in Auckland. Consideration of both full-time and part-time positions will be given to Lecturers with the requisite skills. Core areas of expertise required, include anatomy and cardio-respiratory physiotherapy. The role includes lecturing in undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy papers and associated administrative activities.

We welcome applications from NZ registered physiotherapists with clinical and teaching expertise in Physiotherapy.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the roles involve interaction with clinicians, staff and students. Applicants should have completed, or be in the process of completing, a doctoral level qualification. A good understanding of tikanga Māori is essential to support staff within the bi-cultural context of Aotearoa.
