The School of Humanities is seeking to recruit a School Administration Assistant to join the education team on a full-time fixed-term contract basis. The post is to cover a secondment for an existing staff member which runs until 2nd July 2020, or the earlier return of the postholder.

The School Administration Assistant will act as the first point of contact for students and academic staff needing support from the main school administration office. As well as providing excellent customer service, the role holder will resolve queries relating to room bookings, requests for office supplies and printing, and will support students as appropriate by triaging and responding to queries and signposting relevant sources of support.

In addition, the receptionist will provide support for a range of school events including Open Days for prospective students, research seminars and conferences and school-wide committees and meetings.
