Registrations Specialist - Biocides

Our client is an exciting and newly established Agrochemical company making headlines within the industry. As a result of developing innovative products targeting the reduction of rodentcides, insecticides. As a result they work closely with some of the leading industry companies who have recently acquired their product range. This is a company that will certainly develop your profile as well as skills. Acting as the regulatory specialist you will help a growing team with a growing workload.

THE POSITION:

As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be the acting as the Regulatory expertise involved in Product registrations for Agrochemicals and Biocides. Using your past experience and core regulatory expertise, you will:

Submit major regulatory dossiers. In particular EU Agricultural and Biocides Directive will be critical

Liaise with UK, EU, US and other major regulatory bodies to optimise registrations

Leading or working within industry teams to find practical, cost effective ways of fast-tracking and sustaining product registration

Production of robust study summaries and appropriate risk assessments

Development of relationships with regulatory personnel with suppliers, partners, external contractors and competent authorities

Participation in relevant inter-industry groups such as IBMA, including EU pheromone taskforce

Identification and management of suitable contractors and experts for producing studies and expert argumentation

Management and ownership of regulatory and labels databases;

Preparation of product label text in accordance with authority reviews and internal review processes

EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate should have

A biology or related degree ideally with experience in Entomology. However a Science related degree would be considered.

A reasonable level of experience in regulatory affairs within Biocicdes. REACH and CLP is a bonus and also considered.

Knowledge of the agrochemical and speciality chemicals sectors and regulatory authorities, particularly within the EU

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Strong commercial awareness would be a bonus.
