This is a great opportunity to apply your software development and analytics engineering in an ambitious two-year project multi-disciplinary research and development project and become a key part of the future strategy of SportsAid.

SportsAid are working in partnership with Northumbria University to design, implement and adopt an innovative athlete performance monitoring solution. You will benefit from the ongoing support and guidance of a project team from the Company (located within the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme -TASS team) and the University and will own and drive the project.

SportsAid is the only UK charity of its kind -helping young British sportsmen and women aspiring to be the country's next Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth and world champions. This project aim is to use digital technologies, customer preference analysis and athlete psychology to create a digital platform to support these aspirations and new commercial opportunities.

You will beat the forefront of developing the innovative SportsAid Athlete Monitoring System and providing technical solutions that demand use of your skills in software development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, athlete well-being metrics (psychological and performance-based) and other enabling technologies. This new development will create new capabilities supporting athlete wellbeing and development.
