Clinical IT Project Engineer -Start in Medical Devices Industry

A leading medical devices service company is looking for a Clinical IT Project Engineer to offer their customers the best solution for their needs within a wide range of Clinical IT solutions. If you have experience with IT in a hospital environment but you do not see the growth potential anymore, this would be a great step into the medical devices industry where you have more potential to keep developing your skills and increase your earning potential.

The company has almost 100 years of experience in providing specialised technical support to laboratories, hospitals and research centres so already has a big network you can build on and has a good reputation for their quality products you can be proud of.

You will visit clinical and hospital laboratories all over Belgium and support them with the implementation of IT solutions. As a specialist in the field you can provide them with expert knowledge and sell them the right options according to their needs. It is not required to have specific sales experience but you need to be definitely customer-oriented. You will get the time to analyse the customers situation first and then be in control to arrange the whole process from installation to follow up, which gives you more variety but also more security that everything is done well.

Profile:

• Bachelors or Masters in IT, sciences or engineering
• Several years experience in IT within a clinical laboratory or hospital environment
• Strong knowledge of a Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Middleware
• Experience with standardised communication tools (HL7 / IHE, ASTM, HPRIM,…)
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Fluent level of English and Dutch is required, good level of French is a big advantage
