Outstanding opportunity to build upon your Advancement career within a Group of Eight University
Leading a diversely-skilled team, your responsibilities will include prospect research and donor stewardship, as well as managing a portfolio of major gift prospects; identifying, cultivating, soliciting and nurturing donors in support of key initiatives at the University of Adelaide.
The Senior Advancement Manager is responsible for the execution of advancement plans and strategies to accomplish ambitious fundraising goals, as well as the related personal and team results.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in securing and maintaining long term relationships within an educational or community environment, along with relevant tertiary qualifications. A positive attitude and genuine commitment to making a difference in a philanthropic educational setting is paramount.
This exciting and pivotal role is suited to an excellent communicator and team builder with sound organisational and time management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - and someone not afraid to make the ask .

External Relations develops and fosters partnerships and links with media, business, government, alumni, and the community and to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of engagement activities, including philanthropic fundraising, within one portfolio.

- Demonstrated experience of major gift fundraising and developing fundraising programs.
- A track record of proven success in major gift fundraising at the $25,000 to $100,000+ level.
- Experience of how and why a systemic, and data-lead approach to fundraising supports the most effective and efficient philanthropic outcomes.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, appropriate to dealing with stakeholders and supporters.
- High level skills in influencing, negotiating, motivating and communicating across a large complex organisation and the ability to manage relationships at a senior level.
