AUT is a contemporary university with a reputation for innovative approaches to teaching, learning and research. AUT University's Department of Physiotherapy is seeking 3 Teaching Assistants, each 0.6 FTE based on the North Shore campus in Auckland.
We welcome applications from NZ registered physiotherapists with at least 2 years clinical experience. The role includes teaching practical laboratories in undergraduate physiotherapy papers, under the guidance and mentorship of lecturers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the role involves interaction with lecturers and students and some administrative tasks. In addition to the teaching commitment the Teaching Assistant will be supported financially and with supervision, to enrol in and complete doctoral studies. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to gaining experience in tertiary teaching and a doctoral qualification.
