Dedicated Single Assessment

A Local Authority based in the South West is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Single Assessment team

Highlights:

  • This is a dedicated team which completes Single Assessments
  • You will be responding to referrals from the MASH or other areas to carry out Single Assessments on potential families where there maybe safeguarding risks.
  • Will have enough time to clear off cases prior to being back on Duty, which will give you time to attend training prior to being allocated a new batch of cases
  • The Single Assessment team is stable with only 3 vacancies available within the last 12 months, this reduces disruption to caseloads and other workers
  • Will be holding a manageable caseload which is around 20 children on average
  • Rates of pay are up to £35/Hr
  • The Local Authority is offering up to £150/week towards accommodation payment, making this post more accessible to those not based in the area.
  • Telephone interviews are being arranged within 24 hours of CV's being received.

    • This is an excellent opportunity to take on a locum post which offers a high rate of pay as well as accommodation support of up to £150/week towards accommodation making this role accessible to candidates not based in the area. Furthermore the rate and accommodation benefits will remain active for the duration of your contract and as contracts are being offered for at least 6 months this provides excellent levels of stability whilst retaining a very competitive remuneration package.

    You will be joining a very stable team which has only had 3 vacancies within the last 12 months. This is important as the stability of a team will directly effect your caseload; as this is a stable team there will be less disruption to your caseloads and you will not have to take on additional cases which were held by members of the team who have abruptly left the team
